PRIVACY POLICY FOR SOCIALACTION

Effective Date: 4 October 2026
Last Updated: 4 October 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to SocialAction, developed and operated by Wattpath Technologies.

SocialAction is a community-based platform that enables registered users to discover content, receive and complete assigned activities, create and manage campaigns, submit verification information where required, review submissions connected to their campaigns, and report inappropriate or suspicious content.

This Privacy Policy explains how Wattpath Technologies collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use the SocialAction mobile application and related services.

By creating an account or using SocialAction, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

For privacy-related questions or requests, contact:

Developer/Company: Wattpath Technologies
Email: wattpathconcept@gmail.ckm
Country: Nigeria

2. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on the SocialAction features you use.

2.1 Account Information

When you create a SocialAction account, we may collect:

  • Your display name or nickname
  • Email address
  • Firebase-generated user identification number
  • Account status
  • Account role
  • Reputation information
  • Preferred platforms
  • Account creation and update timestamps

Authentication is handled using Firebase Authentication.

SocialAction does not store your password in readable form.

3. Campaign Information

When you create a campaign on SocialAction, we may collect and store:

  • Platform selected
  • Campaign link or URL
  • Campaign category
  • Activity type
  • Campaign instructions
  • Requested number of participants
  • Campaign status
  • Number of assigned activities
  • Number of completed activities
  • Number of pending verification requests
  • Campaign creation and update dates

Some campaign information is made available to authenticated SocialAction users where necessary for them to receive and complete assigned activities.

4. Task and Activity Information

When you participate in SocialAction activities, we may process information including:

  • Task or assignment identification number
  • Campaign identification number
  • Platform
  • Activity type
  • Assignment date
  • Task status
  • Time an activity was opened
  • Time an activity was submitted
  • Time an activity was completed
  • Verification status
  • Rejection status and rejection reason, where applicable

For timed discovery activities, SocialAction may record the time at which an assigned link is opened.

This timestamp may be used to confirm that the required SocialAction waiting period has elapsed before the task can be marked as completed.

Completion of a timed activity means that the SocialAction workflow was completed. It does not guarantee that a third-party platform has counted the activity as an official view, impression, engagement, or similar metric.

5. Verification Information

Certain SocialAction activities may require verification by the owner of a campaign.

When submitting such a task, you may be asked to provide:

  • The name you used
  • Username or account name
  • A verification note
  • Other information voluntarily supplied as evidence

This information may be made available to the owner of the relevant campaign so that the owner can approve or reject the submission.

You should never provide passwords, bank account details, payment-card information, government identification numbers, authentication codes, or other unnecessary sensitive information in a task verification submission.

6. Reports and Moderation Information

When you report a campaign or activity, we may collect:

  • Your SocialAction user ID
  • The campaign ID
  • Your reason for reporting the campaign
  • Report status
  • Date and time of the report

This information may be reviewed by authorised SocialAction administrators for moderation, safety, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, and enforcement of platform rules.

7. Technical Information

SocialAction and its service providers may process technical information necessary to operate, protect, and maintain the service.

This may include:

  • Authentication information
  • Authentication tokens
  • Device or browser information necessary for service delivery
  • Network request information
  • Error information
  • Diagnostic information
  • Security events
  • Application usage information required for technical operation

The exact information processed may depend on the Firebase services and other infrastructure used by SocialAction.

8. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Unless a future version of SocialAction clearly introduces a feature requiring such information, SocialAction does not intentionally require access to:

  • Phone contacts
  • SMS messages
  • Call logs
  • Precise GPS location
  • Background location
  • Microphone recordings
  • Health information
  • Bank account details

The appearance of a platform name or link inside SocialAction does not mean that the third-party platform sponsors, endorses, owns, or is affiliated with SocialAction.
